About us

Digital Fusion is an Ohio FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics team. Formed in 2004, it is a collaborative effort between stellar professional mentors, Ohio State University Engineering students, and Central Ohio home, private, and public-schooled students.

Under the umbrella of Educational Robotics of Central Ohio, we garner interest and support for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for our members and the community at large.

FIRST Team 1317

This site is designed, built and maintained entirely by FIRST team 1317 members.

FUSION: The union of atomic nuclei (students) to form heavier nuclei (the TEAM) resulting in the release of ENORMOUS AMOUNTS OF ENERGY. This is eighth-year FIRST Team 1317, Digital Fusion.

FIRST is an organization that encourages and teaches students to creatively utilize their skills in math and science through robotics.

Digital Fusion is very excited to attend the Buckeye Regional in Cleveland this year.

2010 Open Practice Invitation [Posted 2010-01-08] - Digital Fusion invites you to join us on Monday, February 22nd for an open practice session on a mock Breakaway course! Just bring one canned or packaged food item per student for donation to a local food pantry, and we will provide a "real" condition testing environment for your robot!
